(ROCKVILLE) – Approximately 77 offenders from the Rockville Correctional Facility Indiana Correctional Industries (ICI) Televerde Corporation workforce raised and donated $1,143.50 to the Arouet Foundation.
RCF is a host site for an ICI Televerde joint venture which provides essential telemarketing services for some of the country’s largest software companies. These services are geared toward corporate consumers, not individual households.
Executives of the Arizona based Televerde Corporation established the charitable organization the Arouet Foundation in 2011 as a second chance movement for women transitioning from incarceration to successful community reentry.
These efforts are benefiting women both in Arizona, and Indiana by providing strategies and resources aimed at creating career and life success.
Offenders who participated in the fundraiser were able to purchase pizza and soft drinks that they enjoyed while watching a movie after normal business hours at the RCF ICI/Televerde Facility.
