Katherine T. Fricke, 95, of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at Bliss Place.
Born June 16, 1924, in Chaplin, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William J. and Dora M. (Carey) Terrell. She was married 63 years to Fred J. Fricke prior to his death on April 6, 2009.
Katherine had been employed at Delco-Remy Indiana and Southern Bell and Burdines in Florida, as well as being a wife and homemaker. She was a resident of California and Florida for many years and enjoyed traveling. Katherine was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington and a 1941 graduate of Mitchell High School.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Brian Ross and Tiffany Ross of Florida; son-in-law, Lorenzo Hamm of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents; husband; daughter, Michelle Ross-Hamm; and siblings, Willard H. Terrell, James Terrell, Robert Terrell, Levi Terrell, Martha Terrell, Christine Thomas, Margaret Barnard, Lurline Cooper, and two infants, preceded her in death.
Burial was Friday, April 3, at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
