(MARTINSVILLE) – Three Martinsville streets are scheduled to close on Thursday.
Bill’s Boulevard and Northwest Avenue are scheduled to close at Ohio Street for 1-2 days beginning early Thursday morning.
Access points to the Kroger and Rural King shopping center to the north will remain open.
Holden Street will provide access to Northwest Avenue and Sunset Manor Drive.
Also on Thursday, Birk Road is scheduled to close at Grand Valley Boulevard for about three weeks.
The Birk Road detour follows Flag Stone Drive and Artesian Avenue straight through the Walmart parking lot.
Message boards will be in place to direct traffic.
Access remains open to all drug stores and restaurants offering take-out service.
