Five questions with Bedford North Lawrence senior Molly Lambrecht
Sports: track and softball: Career choice: Elementary education; College: Indiana State
Question 1: Who has been your role model?
Lambrecht: My role model is my sister Megan. She always pushed me to do my best. She always took me to practice and we would practice track together after softball practice.
Question 2: Can you describe your emotions after your two seasons were cancelled?
Lambrecht: My initial reaction was sadness, but I knew it was nothing I could change. I focused my energy on the other activities in my life, including my flower business.
Question 3: What’s your favorite memory of the two sports you lost?
Lambrecht: My favorite softball memory is winning the sectional my sophomore year. My favorite track memory is tagging along with my sister when she went to the state my sophomore year, because it was exciting to help encourage her.
Question 4: What lessons did you learn from high school sports?
Lambrecht: Sports taught me how to work hard and manage my time.
Question 5: When the current restrictions are lifted, who’s the first person you want to see?
Lambrecht: My extended family, because we usually eat Sunday lunch together and I miss spending time with them.
