Five questions with Bedford North Lawrence senior Angelicca Godsey

Question 1: Can you describe your emotions when the season was cancelled?
Godsey: My initial thoughts were a little hazy. I couldn’t believe the last season was cancelled, and then I realized no more matches. We wouldn’t get our Senior Night, so I was really bummed about it.
Question 2: What life lessons did you learn from high school sports?
Godsey: High school sports taught me to never give up and keep pushing through.
Question 3: What did you love about tennis?
Godsey: I loved playing tennis, especially on match days. I loved the atmosphere before each match.
Question 4: Who has been your role model?
Godsey: My role model has been my grandpa. He will stop anything he’s doing to help you.
Question 5: When the current restrictions are lifted, who’s the first person you want to see?
Godsey: I’m going to visit my grandparents and play cards.
