(BEDFORD) – WorkOne is seeking employers to participate in a Virtual Job Fair and provide job openings they are currently hiring for and for future job openings to share with Manchester Tank employees in Bedford.
Manchester Tank will be permanently closing on June 30, 2020, and affected employees will be seeking new employment.
As part of assisting these employees in finding new work opportunities, WorkOne will be hosting a Virtual Job Fair for these employees on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 5 p.m.Â
Those employers who participate will be recorded by DWD Communications Department and given 5-7 minutes to discuss open positions, skills required, wage information, how to apply, etc. (see attached Employer Information Sheet for additional information).
The recorded version of the virtual job fair will be played as a video loop in the employee cafeteria until the plant closes and a link will be emailed to employees of the recorded version.
Those Employers unable to participate in the Virtual Job fair are invited to provide a one page description of open positions, which can be passed out to Manchester Tank employees at the event.
