(DAVIESS CO.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a local road closure as a part of the State Road 57 intersection improvement project in Washington.
Beginning on or around Friday, June 26, contractors will close Tharp Street at the intersection of Meridian Street to the intersection of S.R. 57, for repaving as a part of the ongoing intersection improvement project at S.R. 57 and Meridian.
Work is expected to last for three to four days depending upon weather conditions. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure but through traffic should use the official detour following Meridian Street, Burris Street and Southwest 1st Street.
