Reminders and Dates to Know

FY20 Quarter 1 Program Reports are Overdue

If you have not already submitted a quarter 1 program report, it is now considered overdue. Please submit it at your earliest convenience. While there will be no penalty for not having a program report in the system, it will delay an eligible reimbursement. If you are not ready to submit for reimbursement, please submit a zero-dollar fiscal report for this quarter by July 15, 2020.

FY20 Performance Period Extensions

If your school was affected by COVID-19 and you do not anticipate completing your grant expenditures by August 31, 2020, you can apply for an extension.

To apply for an extension your school must have a program report and a fiscal report submitted in the IntelliGrants system.

Then, you will submit a GAN (Grant Adjustment Notice) to extend your grant period. After this extension is submitted and approved, a formal amendment will be sent to your school’s signatory to sign. This will be similar to the grant agreement process and may take a month for approval.

The deadline for extension submissions is 5 p.m. EDT on July 24, 2020.

System Administrators and Program Manager Registration

To complete a SSSG application, each school or district must have a sub-grantee administrator or sub-grantee program manager identified in the system. To ensure new accounts are set up with enough time to complete the application, IDHS is requesting schools to submit account requests prior to 5 p.m. EDT on July 24, 2020.

To register as a sub-grantee administrator or sub-grantee program manager for your district or school, visit IntelliGrants.in.gov. A sub-grantee administrator account is required for any entity that would like to apply for the FY21 Secured School Safety Grant. If the same person will be filling multiple roles, they will need multiple logins to sign and submit documents. The sub-grantee administrator is responsible for setting up additional roles.
