(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested after Bedford Police officers responded to a call of an unresponsive male in the 2400 block of M Street early this morning.
When police arrived they spoke to 47-year-old Tobitha McCoy who told police she found 43-year-old Michael Huff unresponsive so she gave him Narcan.
An ambulance arrived and Huff was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
McCoy then gave officers permission to search the apartment.
During that search officers located 46.75 grams of meth, 95.02 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, legend drugs, and a Schedule II controlled substance.
“Because of a medical concern, McCoy requested an ambulance and was also transported to the hospital,” said Chief Terry Moore. “Once both were cleared and released from the hospital they were processed and transported to jail.”
Both are facing charges of dealing meth, possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
McCoy is facing additional charges of possession of a legend drug and possession of a controlled substance.
