Anthony J. Galloway, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 2:26 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020, at I. U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born August 25, 1956 in Bedford, he was the son of James H. and Ula Mae (Walker) Galloway.
Tony retired from GeneralMotors on November 1, 2006 after 31.3 years. He was a member of the Local UAW #440. He graduated from Bedford High School in 1974 and Indiana University with a Batchelor’s degree in Communication.
Survivors include a brother, Timothy H. Galloway and wife Marlene J. of Fishers; a sister, Jamie E. Turner, of Atlanta; nephews, Christopher W. Galloway and wife, Julie and their children, Mila, Cora, and Hazel, Travis C. Turner and wife, Paige and their daughter, Charlie; a niece, Carly E. Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Anthony’s wishes were to be cremated. No services are scheduled. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services.
