(MORGAN CO.) – Drivers should slow down and watch for traffic changes this week on State Road 37 north of Martinsville.
Trucks are scheduled to deliver large bridge beams on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons to the outside shoulder near Henderson Ford Road. Two nights of lane closures and 20-minute rolling stops between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. will allow cranes to lift the beams in place over the highway.
The S.R. 37 speed limit is reduced to 45 mph from Martinsville to Waverly Road.
Construction of the Henderson Ford Road bridge is the first piece of a future interchange that will allow traffic to safely enter and exit I-69 in northeast Morgan County.
