(OWENSBURG) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for a drainage structure replacement project on State Road 58 near Owensburg.
Beginning on or around Monday, Aug. 17, contractors will close S.R. 58 about a mile east of the north junction of S.R. 45 to replace a box culvert. This project will require a full excavation and road closure. During this operation local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
Work is expected to last until mid-September, depending upon weather conditions. All through traffic should use the official detour following S.R. 45 and S.R. 54. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
