(SCOTT CO.) – Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close State Road 203 this week between State Road 356 and State Road 3 in Scott County to complete culvert replacements and tree removal.
The road is scheduled to close from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day starting Wednesday (Sept. 2) and ending Friday (Sept. 4), weather permitting.
Under the closures, three small culverts will be replaced between Plymouth Road and Smith Rd. Access to residences in the area will be maintained. Motorists may utilize S.R. 356 and S.R. 3 as alternate routes.
State Road 203 over Town Creek
In addition, RAM Construction Services plans to begin a bridge deck overlay project on S.R. 203 over Town Creek. The bridge is scheduled to close as early as Tuesday (Sept. 1) and will remain closed during construction, which is expected to take up to one week.
