Mildred Roberts, 93, of Bedford died at 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born October 14, 1926, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of William Silvers and Polly Lovell Silvers. She married Kenneth L. Roberts on February 28, 1941, and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1991. She was a clerical worker for Sarkes-Tarzian for 17 years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Roberts McGath, of Indianapolis; one son, Dexter Roberts, and his wife Christina, of Bedford; six grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Tracy Silvers and his wife Hazel, of Oolitic; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; husband; one son-in-law, Jerry McGath; six siblings.
Family graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Burial will follow.
