Michael Hayes Stone Sr., 71, of Loogootee, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
He was born on January 7, 1949 in Shoals to Russell and Helen Rachel (Terrell) Stone Sr. He married Alice Fay Parsons and he preceded her in death in 2016.
He was a retired truck driver and was employed by Brazoria County in Texas.
Survivors include his two sons, Michael Hayes Stone Jr. and Lisa Hert of Nashville, TN and Travis Stone and Patricia Mata of Texas; one daughter Michelle Estrada and Randy Robertson of Texas; grandchildren,
Matthew Hert, Zachary Hert, Natasha Hert, Crystal Estrada (Micky Lott), Alissa Estrada, Josiah Estrada, Noah Grant, Jordan Stone, Martha (Juan) Castillo and Tiara Stone; four great-grandchildren, Aziyah Hert,
Jordin Hert, Arian Lott and Kai Lott; and two brothers, David (Wanda) Stone and Tony (Sharon) Stone both of Shoals.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Terry Wayne Stone; five brothers, Robert, Russell Jr, Edmond, Donald and Charles; five sisters, Audra Waggoner, Betty Salmon, Barb Stone, Mary Freeman and Doris Spears.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Marvin Lagle officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
