(JACKSON CO.) – The Jackson County Health Department is helping people “shoo the flu” by conducting a drive-thru flu shot clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29th in the parking lot of the health department, at 801 West Second Street in Seymour.
Cash is not necessary, as insurance can be billed.

Schneck Primary Care is also hosting a drive-thru flu vaccine clinic.
Care providers administer the vaccine while you stay in your car.
The clinic will be offered on the following dates:
- October 2 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Schneck Primary Care Brownstown parking lot
- October 3 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Schneck Professional Building parking garage, Level 2
- October 17th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Schneck Professional Building parking garage, Level 2
The vaccine is available in regular dose and high dose for those ages 65 and older. The cost of the flu vaccine is covered by most insurance plans or self-pay.
The vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
