(JACKSON COUNTY) — Indiana Department of Transportation Contractor Duncan Robertson Inc. resumed work earlier this week on the S.R. 135 bridge over Wayman Ditch in Jackson County.
The bridge replacement project was put on hold last month due to a problem with one of the piers.
State Road 135 closed just north of U.S. 50 in April and is expected to reopen by mid-November, weather permitting. Flagging may be necessary once the bridge reopens. The official detour remains U.S. 50 to S.R. 446 to S.R. 58.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use extra caution in and near work zones. All work is weather dependent.
