Wilbur R. Webb, 94, of Bedford, passed away on October 22, 2020 at 12:05 a.m. at IU Health in Paoli.
He was born in Lawrence County on March 25, 1926 to Leslie and Eva (Pierce) Webb. Wilbur married Mary Wagoner on December 7, 1947 and she survives.
Wilbur retired from NAD Crane where he was a supervisor, he also received many awards at Crane for improving production, he was a member of the Bedford First Baptist Church, Bedford American Legion Post #33, Bedford Masonic Lodge #14, LCI Association, he was a US Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 73 years, Mary Webb, two daughters, Diane Kinkead, and Brenda (Ron) Stevens, granddaughters, Melody Bugh and fiancée Tim Duncan, and his daughter, Megan, Lisa (Dave) Hood, Great grandsons, Levi (Kate) Cobb, Tyler Johnson and girlfriend, Lacie, Dallas (Hannah) Cobb, Josh Johnson and fiancée, Katelynn and son, Owen and Devin Cobb, Great great grandson, Jameson Johnson, one brother, Oscar Webb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Sam Webb, step-brother, Bob Tindal, and son-in-law, Joe Kinkead.
Pall Bearers will be Ron Stevens, Dave Hood, Tim Duncan, Levi Cobb, Tyler Johnson, Dallas Cobb, Josh Johnson and Gary Webb.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 28, 2020 at Cresthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Brown, officiating, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, military rites to be performed by the Bedford American Legion Post Visitation will be on Tuesday October 27, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
