Virginia Sue Hughett, 76, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the home of her daughter.
Born August 12, 1944, in Charlestown, she was the daughter of Roland W. and Martha (Brewster) Tanksley. She married Ronald Kenneth Hughett June 28, 1963, and he preceded her in death February 28, 2018.
Virginia was a store manager and a graduate of Mitchell High School.
Survivors include her children, Brian (Cathy) Hughett of Bedford, Kathy Hughett of Bedford, Kevin Hughett of Bedford; 3 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; sister, Patty Banks of Bedford.
Her parents; husband; and brothers, Jack Tanksley, John Tanksley, and David Tanksley, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, at Mitchell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
