Norma Lou Keller, 77, of Bedford passed away Friday, December 4, 2020.
Born January 31, 1943, in Mitchell, IN she was the daughter of Joseph M. and Mamie (Pemberton) King. She married Kenneth Keller on July 20, 1963, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2002.
Norma attended Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bedford. Norma was a graduate of Shawswick High School and Business College of Indianapolis. She worked in purchasing at RCA/Thomson Electric in Bloomington for many years, she later worked in customer service at Region’s Bank in Bedford. She was a life member of the Lambda Chi Omega Sorority, a competitive Euchre player, playing in several clubs, and a volunteer at the Lawrence County Historical Society.
Survivors include her sister-in-law Kathryn “Kitty” King of Columbus; a half-sister, Virginia Herod of Bedford; a niece, Teresa King of Indianapolis; a nephew, Michael King of Cincinnati; as well as several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Howard King.
A private burial will be held at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. The family is planning to host a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lawrence County Historical Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
