(BLOOMINGTON) – The Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department announces the large dog enclosure at the Switchyard Dog Park will be closed through the end of the year.
Dogs love mud puddles, but that’s not typically the case for their owners. There have been some recent drainage issues within the large dog paddock at Switchyard Park, so the section will remain closed through the end of this year while crews work to mitigate the issue.
In the meantime, large dogs are permitted in the small dog area at Switchyard, or you can utilize the separate dog paddocks that are available at Ferguson Dog Park.
