(LOOGOOTEE) – The USDA Farmers to Families Food Box program will hold another distribution in Loogootee on December 22.
This will be the fourth distribution in Martin County totaling more than 5,400 food boxes worth approximately $270,000.
Approximately 1600 food boxes will be distributed. Food boxes contain a mixture of produce, eggs, meat, and dairy products.
The event is a first-come, first-serve. Boxes will be distributed at the Loogootee United Methodist Church on West Main Street from 4 p.m. until they run out of boxes or 6 p.m.
Organizers ask that you please do not line up early, as this will interfere with traffic flow.
