Lloyd E. Norman, 75, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at his residence.
Lloyd was born May 1, 1945, in Heltonville, to Millard Earl and Martha Ann (Morgan) Norman. He married Lynette and she survives.
Lloyd was a graduate of Heltonville High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was owner and operator of Hoosier Cut Stone, a member of American Legion Gillen Post #33 and the Masonic Lodge of Bedford.
Surviving to cherish Lloyd’s memory are his wife, Lynettte of Bedford; one daughter, Janeane Walls of Bedford; one son, Charles Batman of Bedford; three step-daughters, Lisa Batman of Bedford, Lana Batman of Heltonville and J.J. Norris of Bedford; stepson, Scott Sullivan of Bedford; ten grandchildren, Ethan Sullivan, Jarrod Hicks, Haley Armstrong, Channlor Engleking, Bruce Engleking, Gauge Engleking, Cydnee Wright, Marlee Wright, Hayden Wright and Lincoln Wright; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Lloyd Norman will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 7, 2020, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with Bro. Kenneth Allen officiating. Calling hours will be from noon to the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery.
