Steve L. Coulter, 71, of Bedford, died at 11:35 a.m. on January 8, 2021, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born April 3, 1949, in Bedford, he was the son of Earl Coulter Jr. and Ruby (Beasley) Coulter. He married Diane Cox on July 26, 1969, and she survives. Steve retired from NSWC Crane as a supervisory electronic technician. He was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Diane of Bedford; one son, Cody Coulter, and his wife Heather of Bedford; three grandchildren, Elexis, Logan, and Owen Coulter; one brother, Robert Coulter, of Phoenix, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Paul “Sonny” Coulter and Larry Coulter.
Private funeral services will take place in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Tim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion Gillen Post 33. A private visitation is also scheduled.
