Brenda Phillips, 70, of Mitchell. passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, at 12:06 a.m. at IU Bloomington Hospital.
She was born in Bedford on June 27, 1950, to Roy Craig and Katherine (Shelton) Craig, she was a homemaker. Brenda married Ray Phillips on December 22, 1998, and he survives.
She was a member of Mathers Chapel Church and Wildwood Christian
Church in Mitchell and was of the Pentecost faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Phillips of Mitchell, two sons, Jason
Reed of Lafayette and Christian Simmons of Bloomington, two
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, four step-daughters, Linda
Simpson of Birdseye, Carolyn Ice of Marysville, Kansas, Abby Eggers of
Bedford, and Melissa Phillips of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Anita Thompson,
Karen DeGrasse, and Donna Hackett, two brothers, Eddie Craig and Charles
Craig.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford, with Brother Lonnie Jones,
officiating, friends and family may gather at the funeral home beginning at
1:00 p.m. on Friday.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
