STATEHOUSE – State Rep. Steve Davisson (R-Salem) at the Statehouse recently honored Salem student Khloe Mull with a House resolution for being named an Indianapolis NBA Rising Star All-Star.
Davisson, a co-author of House Resolution 12, said “Rising Stars” are high school seniors who demonstrate leadership in their schools and communities, and they receive a $2,100 scholarship. Mull was 1 of 21 Indiana students selected for the scholarship.
“Khloe is a young leader who has displayed a willingness and commitment to serving others,” Davisson said. “Her dedication to the community is an inspiration, and we should all challenge ourselves to be like Khloe and make the world around us a better place.”
