Judith E. (Johnson) Peavler, 57, of Shoals, passed March 26, 2021, in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born July 26, 1963, in Daviess County, Indiana to William Paul and Gladys Mae (York) Johnson. She graduated Shoals High School and Indiana University, was a Registration Clerk at Jasper Memorial Hospital, and attended Mt. Union Church of Christ.
Judith is survived by one brother, Donald P. Johnson of Shoals; one sister, Sharon Rose Wadsworth of Petersburg; nieces, Joanie Johnson of Plainville, Norma Collins of Shoals, Donna Boyd of Shoals, Nancy Cox of French Lick and Christina Wolak of Princeton; nephews, James Roberts of Bedford, Aaron Roberts of Greenwood and William Joseph Johnson of West Baden. Several great-nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one nephew Richard Dwayne Johnson; and two great-nieces, Rebecca White and Nikki Boyd.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
