UNDATED – As this difficult year comes to an end, it’s good to remember that we’re all part of a community. Neighbors, family, friends, first responders – we depend on. Many corporations also stepped up. They care about being good citizens and give back to the communities they operate in.
To highlight those corporations, Newsweek partnered with Statista on their second annual list of America’s Most Responsible Companies. The list names 399 companies in dozens of different industries and varies widely in size. They gauge the companies on environmental stewardship, social engagement, and corporate governance.
But they all share the same values and that’s worth recognizing in any year.
Newsweeks notes the 2021 America’s Most Responsible Companies list represents companies that “care about being good citizens and give back to the communities.”
Five Indiana-based companies are among the list of the most responsible corporations in the country by Newsweek.
The Indiana companies making the list:
No. 24 Cummins Inc.
No. 118 Eli Lilly & Co.
No. 254 Simon Property Group
No. 271 Hill-Rom Holdings
No. 311 Zimmer-Biomet Holdings
Other companies with sizeable staff and investment in Indiana also made the list but are not headquartered in Indiana.
