LOOGOOTEE – A Loogootee man died in a house fire Saturday night.
According to Martin County Coroner Kathy Evans, 72-year-old Robert Osborne, of Loogootee, died of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters from Loogootee, Martin County Fire/Rescue, and Shoals Fire Departments responded to 2094 State Road 550, south of Loogootee Saturday at 6:59 p.m.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s office continues to investigate the cause of the fire.
