WASHINGTON – Washington High School Senior Kenzie Knepp is the People’s Choice winner in the 2021 Eighth District Congressional Art Competition.
Knepp took the title with her colored pencil and ink drawing on grey-toned paper titled: Blossoming.
Knepp almost hit 600 likes, shares, and comments on Congressman Larry Bucshon’s social media pages on her drawing.
The 2021 8th District Congressional Art Competition 1st Place Overall winner is Evansville North High School senior Louis Duncan, with his oil painting titled The Garland of Alaska.
Duncan will receive a roundtrip ticket to Washington, D.C. for the Congressional Art Competition Reception and will have her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for a year.
These two pieces were selected among 46 submissions from across Indiana’s 8th Congressional District.
