Kim Ann Holt, 62, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Mitchell Manor.
Born June 15, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Frank W. Decker, Jr. and Carol (Shaffer) Block. She married Dale Mathew Holt April 30, 1994.
Kim was a homemaker and a member of Tulip Street Christian Church. She graduated from Loogootee High School in 1978.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Holt of Mitchell; son, Jason Mathew Holt of Mitchell; mother and stepfather, Carol and Kenneth Block of New Concord, Kentucky; grandchildren, Owen Tyler Holt, Rhealynn Ranae Holt; brothers, William (Amy) Decker of Paducah, Kentucky, Frank (Elisa) Decker III of Chicago, Illinois; several nieces and nephews
Her father preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Darrin Chastain officiating. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
