BLOOMINGTON – Monroe County Community School Corporation received The United Way Champion of Hope Award.
The Hope award recognizes workplaces that give United Way Campaigns new energy, increased participation, and engagement.
This year, MCCSC partnered with United Way for their fundraising campaign, Reimagine. Fueled by the community’s generosity, the COVID-19 pandemic led United Way and its partners to adapt and innovate, accomplishing things officials previously thought impossible.
As the school corporation and The United Way look to the future, all have an opportunity to build on this momentum and Reimagine what the future looks like as the community recovers and rebuilds.
Big challenges lie ahead and big solutions will be needed.
