Evan Micah Barnhart, 34, of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Hospital.
Born September 27, 1986, in Mitchell, he was the son of Stan Owen and Donna May (Meadors) Barnhart.
Evan was funny, smart, very creative, and good at making things. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 2005.
Survivors include his parents, Stan and Donna Barnhart of Mitchell; siblings, Andrew Barnhart of Mitchell, Hanna Barnhart of Louisville; grandparents, Robert and Nancy Barnhart of Fairmont
His brother, Clinton “CJ” Barnhart, and grandparents, William and Edith Meadors, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Celebration of Life will follow at Spring Mill State Park. Burial will be at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery.
