COLUMBUS – Indiana Conservation Officers have recovered the body of a 17-year-old male from Tipton Lake in Bartholomew County.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, first responders were dispatched to the Tipton Lake swimming area for a subject that went under the water and never resurfaced.
A short time later, the victim was recovered in approximately twelve feet of water near a swimming platform.
The investigation is ongoing, and an exact cause of death is pending autopsy results.
