Gerald Dean Williams, 93, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born January 10, 1928, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Doan and Agnes (Barlow) Williams. He was married to W. Charlene Tincher and she preceded him in death on August 26, 2008.
Gerald retired from Trav-Ler Radio Corporation and General Motors. He was a member of the Mitchell First Church of God, and a 1945 graduate of Huron High School.
Survivors include his children, Danny (Julia) Williams of Mitchell, Vicki (Don) Hudson of Mitchell and Lanny Williams of Mitchell; grandchildren, Eric Garceau, Amy Manghelli, Nick Williams, Gabe Williams, and Shane Williams and 10 great-grandchildren
His parents; wife; great-granddaughter, Page Williams; and siblings, Velma Thompson, Loeda Mundy, and Bill Williams, preceded him in death.
A private family graveside service will be Sunday, July 27, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Roland Holtsclaw officiating.
