Carl E. Lyons, 81, of Bedford passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 10:55 a.m. at his residence.
Carl was born on April 14, 1940, in Bedford to Hovey Lyons and Mildred (Maick) Lyons. Carl married Sharon Stevens on November 30, 1957, and she survives.
Carl retired from General Motors as a Machine Repairman after 33 years of service, he was a member of the UAW Local 440 in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Lyons of Bedford, three children, Carl (April) Lyons, Jr. of Bedford, Judy (Rodger) Tucker of Mitchell, and Becky Lyons of Mitchell, eight grandchildren, Benjamin Lyons, Matthew Anderson, Mike Dickerson, Wendy Pemberton, Chad Nordhoff, Cory Lyons, Jason Lyons, and Saraya Lyons, thirteen great-grandchildren, Austin Pemberton, Aden Pemberton, Nate Pemberton, Claire Nordhoff, Hayden Dickerson, Chase Dickerson, Marcus Carrasquillo, Jadelynn Lyons, Carson Lyons, Reece Lyons, Reid Lyons, Tony Lyons, and Emma Lyons.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Fred Lyons, and nephew, Rick Lyons.
Cremation was chosen with no services planned at this time.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
