BLOOMINGTON — Ivy Tech Community College’s Bloomington campus is open for fall registration and is hosting an Ivy Bash enrollment event on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Prospective students and returning students that have not enrolled yet are encouraged to attend. The event is also free and opens to the public.
To celebrate a full return to classes on campus this fall, attendees of Ivy Bash who enroll in classes will be automatically entered to win a tuition-free Fall Semester 2021. Attendees can also get a free T-shirt and food items will be provided. Local radio stations Hoosier Country 105 and B97 will be on-location hosting a live remote broadcast.
Ivy Tech Bloomington offers nearly 40 career-focused programs in seven schools ranging from healthcare and information technology to life sciences manufacturing, in addition to general education transfer degrees. Students who start this fall will benefit from the college’s new tuition model, Ivy+, by having their tuition frozen for two years, getting free classes after 12 credit hours per semester, and free textbooks for at least the 2021-22 academic year.
Making college even more affordable, students who qualify, have the opportunity to earn a tuition-free certificate, which is paid for by the state’s Workforce Ready Grant. For more information about tuition-free job certification programs offered at Ivy Tech’s Bloomington campus, visit the campus Next Level Jobs webpage.
