Betty B. Quackenbush, 93, of Bedford, passed away at 11:23 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Bliss
Place in Bedford.
Born December 21, 1927, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Walter and Pansy (Wagner) Terrell. She married Charles Logan Baker and he preceded her in death in 1983. She later married Doyle Quackenbush and he preceded her in death in 2002. She retired from NSWC Crane in 1984 after working for 26 years as a Production
Estimator and Planner in the Explosive Operations Division. Early in life, she was a member of the Silverville Baptist Church and currently was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sondra Mosier, of Bedford; grandchildren, Erik Mosier (Tonya) and Reagan Mosier (Nichole); great-grandchildren, Addison Mosier, Gavin Norman, Gracie Norman, and Logan Norman; a step-son, Rodger Quackenbush; a sister, Josephine Freeman, of IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two brothers, John Logan Terrell and Harold “Hub”
Terrell; a sister, Barbara Craig.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter
Mortuary with Pastor Jason Filler officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday, August 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
