Guy F. Edington, 78, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, in Bedford.
He was born June 25, 1943, in Bedford, to Billy and Phyllis (Qualkenbush) Edington. He married Terry Bishop on July 2, 1992, and she survives.
Guy retired from White Castle Meat Processing Plant in Orleans. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, of the Christian faith and an avid fisherman. He enjoyed camping and spending time with friends and family.
Surviving to cherish Guy’s memory are his wife, Terry of Bedford; four children, Lisa Goodeill, Shane (Deann) Toliver, Brian (Vicki) Edington, and Brandon (Ashley) Hackney; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Qualkenbush, Tina Peyton, Ruth Ann (Preston) Elkins and Glenna Byrne; and brother, Jim Edington.
Preceding Guy in death were his parents; son, Christopher; and sister, Nancy Roberts.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, at the Leatherwood Cemetery in Bedford with Reno Bates officiating. There will be no visitation.
