Barbara Sue Prow, 81 of Bedford, passed away at 1:40 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021, at White River Lodge.
Born July 29, 1940, in Williams, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Virginia (Roberts) Stewart. She married Kenneth Prow on July 24, 1961, and he survives. She was a homemaker. She loved gospel music and Elvis but her passion was for dogs. She would always tell you to “remember the dogs”.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Kenneth Prow, of Bedford; a sister, Tammy Grigg, and husband,
David, of Dayton, OH; loving nieces and nephews, Lisa (Harrell) Smith and husband, Jeff, of Bloomington, Mike Harrell of Mooresville, Elizabeth Grigg, Emily (Grigg) Enriquez and her husband, Jacob, and Daniel Grigg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Patricia (Stewart) Harrell, and a brother, Robert Stewart.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Williams Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the White River Humane Society or any animal shelter.
