Margaret Jean (Glasgow) Baker Doane, 86, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at I.U.
Health Hospice House.
Born March 17, 1935, in Owensburg, she was the daughter of Joseph and Maude (Ooley) Glasgow. She married Jack V. Baker and he preceded her in death on April 29, 1961. She later married Jaines D. Doane and he preceded her in
death on December 27, 2020. She was a beautician and member of the Body of Christ Church. She enjoyed
collecting dolls.
Survivors include three children, Rebecca A. (Baker) Acton and husband, Tom, David Paul Baker and wife, Scarlett, all
of Bedford and Timothy Jack Baker and wife, Tracy, of Springville; nine grandchildren; eleven great-
grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Korvela, Judy Anderson, and Sharon Saunders.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a daughter, Deborah (in infancy); a granddaughter, Amber (in infancy); siblings, Joseph Glasgow, Perry Glasgow, Anna Mae Parker, Robert Glasgow, and Helen Banks.
Private services are planned. The burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
