WASHINGTON – The Daviess County Health Department, in partnership with the Washington Community Schools, will be hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic for anyone 12 years of age or older on September 8.
The free vaccine clinic will be held at the Washington Junior High Gym, at the main entrance at 201 N.E. Sixth Street. Parking is in the lot across Sixth Street from the Jr. High Gym.
The free vaccine clinic will be open to students and staff from 1:00 p.m. until 3:20 p.m. and to the general public from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Both the Moderna and the Pfizer two-dose vaccines will be available.
Anyone younger than 18 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine.
The second dose will be scheduled for 21 to 28 days later at the Jr. High Gym.
The shots are free to any Indiana resident. You do not need insurance to get the shot. However, the providers can bill insurance a fee at no cost to you. Insurance cards are requested if you have one. Your personal information will be kept confidential.
