BEDFORD – A car show hosted by the Bedford Parks Department and Southern Indiana Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK is Saturday at Thornton Park. Hubler Chevrolet and Gillespies 1st Place Trophies are sponsors for the event in addition to Sipes Body & Glass, Crowder’s Pharmacy, Smoot Eye Care, Big O Tires, Air-Master Heating & Air Conditioning, HFI Inc. , Golden Corral, Big O Tires, Thomas Insurance Services and Bobcat of Daviess County.
There is a $20 vehicle registration fee for the event, however spectators can attend for free. Judging will begin promptly at 11 a.m.
Awards will be given to the top 25 and there will also be awards for Best of Show, Mayor’s Choice, Park’s Department Choice, and Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK choice award.
Car show participants will have an opportunity to win prizes, however everyone will have an opportunity to take part in the 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from this event benefit the Bedford Parks Department community programs and events.
It will be a great day to come out and enjoy the great music and food provided by Graffiti BBQ while you walk through and take a look back on the cars and trucks of the past.
