BLOOMINGTON – Indiana University Family Weekend is scheduled for September 17-19.
Get back to Bloomington to spend a spirited weekend with your favorite Hoosier. IU will have a number of IU experiences that are fun for the whole family.
Please note that these events are subject to change as deemed necessary by University leadership and in accordance with guidance and recommendations issued by federal, state, and local public health and government officials.
Family Reception
Friday, Sept. 17 • 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Indiana Memorial Union – Solarium and Patio
The Family Reception and Family Tailgate have reached capacity and we are no longer accepting reservations.
Families and their students are invited to visit Indiana Memorial Union to mix and mingle with Division of Student Affairs leadership and other Hoosier families in a fun, informal atmosphere. Entertainment and light refreshments will be provided.
IU Memorial Stadium Tour
Friday, Sept. 17 • Tours begin at 6:30 p.m., last tour starts at 9 p.m.
Check-In: South End Zone
Hoosier Nation: Catch a pass on the field, see the official Indiana Football team locker room, or capture the view from a game-day luxury suite with Friday Night Memorial Stadium tours. Special all-access Friday Night Tours of Indiana University’s Memorial Stadium allow for fans to experience Hoosier Football firsthand as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes areas of the home of the Hoosiers football team. Tours are free but fans must register for a specific time slot from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and start at the South entrance (off of 17th Street).
Family Tailgate
Saturday, Sept. 18 • 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
IU Memorial Stadium
The Family Reception and Family Tailgate have reached capacity and officials are no longer accepting reservations.
Enjoy this annual tradition including music, food, fun, and friends. There will be games, face painting, and a special appearance by members of the Marching Hundred and RedSteppers. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 17. Breakfast is included (this is a non-alcohol event).
