SEYMOUR – Seymour conquered Bedford North Lawrence 4-0 during girls high school soccer action on Thursday.
Lillie Wessel, Eliza Cash, Page Mora and Camryn Sterling scored the goals for the Owls, who improved to 5-6-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the Hoosier Hills Conference. Brooke Trinkle had two assists, and goalie Jessica Hougland made three saves.
“We played better tonight, definitely in the second half,” BNL coach Jackie Dufresne said. “Seymour had a phenomenal passing game, which we were able to disrupt enough to keep the score low. Crystal (Webb) had some amazing saves. They made her work. We had a few opportunities on offense but fell short.”
The Stars (0-7-1 overall, 0-4-0 in the league) will visit Jeffersonville on Saturday.
