Larry Dean Horton, 76, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 1:26 p.m. at his residence.
He was born on March 30, 1945, in Norman to Henry Horton and Georgia (Collins) Horton. He was a graduate of Clear Springs High School, He retired from the Indiana Limestone Company. Larry married Elsie Lucille (Prewitt) Horton on August 30, 1964, and she preceded him in death in 2010.
Survivors include his children, Debra L. (Frank, Sr.) Hackett of Bedford, Sherry A. (Tom) Bunch of Bedford, Michelle D. McVicker of Bedford, and Larry David Horton of Bedford; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger (Ruth) Horton of Bedford, and one sister, Donna Lane.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Mary Harper.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Clear Springs Cemetery in Jackson County. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
