INDIANA – Are you a young talented artist or have a talented artist in your life? This is an awesome opportunity for them to showcase their creative skills and design artwork that will be displayed on a Junior Achievement of Central Indiana holiday ornament.
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to participate.
Entries will be judged by JA board members on the theme, design, and originality.
First, second, and third place winners will be selected from elementary, middle, and high school levels. In addition to the grade level winners, one overall “Best in Show” winner will be selected and featured on the young artist website.
All first-place winners’ artwork will be featured on a commemorative holiday ornament and will receive an ornament with their art displayed on it. All first-place winners will also receive an ornament with their art displayed.
This year’s theme is “Love”. Illustrate this subject by drawing what love means to you. Let officals see your creative powers at work. Your artwork can be realistic or abstract and may include people, animals, events, and objects.
This art competition runs from now until October 15th. Winners will be announced virtually on November 1st.
Orders for all ornaments will be taken from November 1 through December 10th and available for pickup on December 13th at the JA BizTown office (7435 Keystone Avenue, Door 5) or they may be shipped to your home. Ornaments will cost $20 (if picked up) or $25 (if shipped).
