Rachel Mary Holt, 75, of Bedford, formerly of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Mitchell Manor, in Mitchell, Indiana.
Born September 19, 1946, in Shoals, she was the daughter of Herman and Ruby Ann (Murray) Hatfield. She married Jerry Dean Holt and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Survivors include her children, Eric Holt, Steve Sanders, and Scott Sanders; grandchildren, Tasha Nicole Holt, Miranda Sanders, Heaven Sanders, Shayla Sanders, Ryan Sanders, and Christopher Sanders; siblings, Dale Hatfield, Doris Sergent, Wanda Gilbert, Freida Hatfield, and Bonnie Hert; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Dean; son, Marty in infancy; and one brother, Lee Hatfield.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne- George Family Funeral Homes in Shoals. Burial will follow in the Allbright Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral chapel.
