MITCHELL – Mitchell Police officers arrested a Campbellsburg man Thursday on drug charges after a traffic stop on State Road 37 when an officer noticed him swerving from one lane to the next.
Police stopped 28-year-old Thomas Fajardo. The officer noticed Fajardo would not make eye contact and appeared nervous.
Fajardo gave the officer consent to search the vehicle. In the vehicle, the officer found a smoking device containing meth residue and a bottle of 98 tramadol hydrochloride pills. In Fajardo’s shirt pocket the officer found a baggie of meth.
