Martha “Sue” Wininger, 83, of Shoals passed away on October 25, 2021, at 4:04 a.m. at her residence.
She was born on February 17, 1938, in Miami, Florida to Francis Marion George and Mabel (Bibb) George. Sue married Sherman Elmer Wininger on December 21, 1955, in Temple, Texas and he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors include her children, Aloaha E. (Joseph) Jones of Shoals, Frank Wininger of Shoals, Sabra Sue (Terry) Bough of Shoals, Angie M. Diamond of Shoals, and Sabrina “Bina” Graham of Brownsburg, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Aloaha Lynn Wininger in infancy, one son, Thomas S. Wininger in 2019.
Cremation was chosen with burial in Allbright Cemetery.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
